This year’s Golf Industry Show is in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The conference runs the entire week with educational seminars on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and the trade show only open on Wednesday and Thursday.  The education has been brilliant as well as instrumental in helping Stow Acres stay up to date on the latest research and information in the industry.  I took part in a wetting agents seminar on Monday with Dr. Karnok.  He broke down the scientific reasons for using these products and even shared some research on how different products are performing.  On Tuesday, I took a full day seminar on team building.  This seminar was taught by Dr. Milligan and was extremely valuable.  Not only did we analyze people behaviors, but we also analyzed our own behaviors.  It was a great seminar, especially before the season begins.  Today will probably be the most valuable day.  Networking with other industry professionals.  It is going to be a very long day with much more talking than is usually done on the golf course, but networking is one of the most valuable things to take away from this annual conference.  Stay tuned as I will post more updates from the conference later today and tomorrow.  See you the floor 😉
