The 2012 Massachusetts Four-ball Championship is just around the corner. The first group tees off Monday off holes 1 and 10 on both golf courses at 7am. We have been preparing for this event for the last few months and we are finally in the closing days of preparation. The greens are in the best condition I have seen them in my five years here. The staff has been diligently marching around both courses finalizing the last-minute checklist to get the courses ready for tournament play. This has included chipping and cleaning tree groves, sodding thin areas around greens, adding and cleaning sand in bunkers, and trimming playable areas. A list of last-minute items:

I really do have to thank my crew for all of their hard work in the preparations needed for this event. It has been a very stressful, but very fun few months. Our work this spring will be a definite benefit to those playing the course in the coming months. See you on the course!
